Tigers down DSU in four sets

MADISON—The Dakota Wesleyan University volleyball team captured its 11th win of the season with a 3-1 win over Dakota State University on Tuesday in Madison. Set scores were 25-19, 23-25, 25-13 and 25-21.

Becky Frick led the Tigers with 14 kills and 10 digs for her 13th double-double of the season. Bridgett Knobbe also added a double-double with 30 assists and 11 digs. Kimberly VanBockern had eight kills, while freshman Chelsey Heeg pitched in six kills.

DWU (11-4) will play Briar Cliff University in a Great Plains Athletic Conference match at 7:30 p.m. today at the Corn Palace.
