DWU women's soccer suffers pair of losses

First half woes spelled trouble for the Dakota Wesleyan University women's soccer team over the weekend in the form of two home losses at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex.

The Tigers were done in Saturday by Clarke University 3-1 after the visitors racked up three first-half goals.

DWU's Autumn Vigil was able to pull the Tigers within two in the second but the home team would get no closer.

The early trouble continued Sunday as DWU fell to Jamestown College 2-0.

Dakota Wesleyan's next action is against Grace College at 1 p.m. Saturday in Mitchell.
