ND, SD governors bet over NDSU-SDSU football game

PIERRE (AP) -- The governors of North Dakota and South Dakota are making a friendly wager over this weekend's South Dakota State University-North Dakota State University football match-up.

South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard earlier this month lost a wager to North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple when NDSU beat SDSU 20-17. Daugaard wagered a buffalo steak dinner against Dalrymple's meats gift basket.

Now the governors are going "double-or-nothing" on the rematch in this weekend's playoff match-up.

The two teams meet in the Fargodome in Fargo at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The game marks the 100th meeting between NDSU and SDSU.
