Police: Mitchell man arrested for stabbing, killing person early Tuesday morning

Moehring and other vendors endured cold, wet and windy weather on the first day of the 2013 Pheasant Classic at Cabela’s. The event, which runs through Sunday, is expected to be attended by about 14,000 resident and nonresident hunters. The National Weather Service forecasts a high of 52 degrees today in Mitchell, with a chance of showers. For Saturday’s pheasant opener, the forecast is breezy, with a high of 50 degrees.
