LETTER: So much wrong with abortion
To the Editor:
Do you approve of abortion? Let's call it what it is. Abortion is murder of innocent babies.
Do you approve? If not what have you done to oppose it? If there was a vote, would you vote?
The abortion industry sees a baby as parts to sell: brain — $75; eyes — $50 each; arm — $75 each. Need I go on?
In the past year Planned Parenthood reported nearly $100 million in profits; an increase of 27 percent from the year before. That comes on the heels of year after year of increased profits for the abortion business of killing babies and selling their organs. What is really disturbing is that American taxpayers make up the largest contribution to Planned Parenthood's bottom line. Just last year there were 320,000 abortions, roughly the equivalent of one baby killed every minute and a half.
There are two cases regarding abortion and Planned Parenthood before the Supreme Court now. There is a chance that the bug business of Planned parenthood could end!
Are you as horrified as I am that these tiny, precious humans are being killed before they are born? Are you as horrified as I am that these tiny, precious humans are then being cut up into parts that bring $1,000 for each baby?
If the abortion business believes each baby is worth that much, how much more should each of us because we are willing to give that baby a chance to become a worthwhile adult to become a teacher, doctor, minister, USA president or loving parent to another child!
The Bible calls children "a heritage from the Lord," a reward. Psalm 127:3-5.
We can learn valuable lessons from children inquisitive minds and trusting spirits. Those who view children as a distraction or nuisance should instead see them as an opportunity to shape the future. We dare not treat children as an inconvenience when God values them so highly!
