Wagner man arrested for meth use
WAGNER — A Wagner man was arrested recently for testing positive for meth use.
Officers observed 30-year-old Brooks Chasing Hawk "acting strange" on Feb. 23 and approached him, according to court documents. Chasing Hawk was allegedly smacking his lips, grinding his teeth and "displaying indicators of methamphetamine use," and he told police he had last used meth three days prior.
A urine test came back positive for meth, amphetamine and marijuana.
Chasing Hawk was charged with felony ingestion of a controlled substance. If convicted, he could face up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
