BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT June 10, 2014 CALL TO ORDER Chairman Claggett called the meeting of the Davison County Board of Adjustment to order at 9:30 a.m. All members of the Board were present. Also present were Planning & Zoning Administrator Bathke, Deputy Wegner, and Deputy Auditor Wermers. APPROVE MINUTES Motion by Kiner, second by Weitala, to approve the minutes of the May 13, 2014 meeting. All members voted aye. Motion carried. VARIANCES The Planning Commission recommended granting 6-0-1 abstaining. Motion by Weiss, second by Reider, after consideration of Section 1507 C Variances, to grant a variance of +/- 22' (ft) to create a front yard setback of +/- 53' (ft), as requested by Quality Homes. This request is pursuant to Section 613 (2a) of the Davison County Zoning Ordinance as adopted on 4/1/98 and as subsequently amended. The property is legally described as Lots 3 & 4 of W S Martins 1st Addn., a subdivision of Govt. Lot 1 in the NE ¼ W S Martins 1st Addn. NE of Section5, T 102 N, R 60 W of the 5th P.M., Prosper Township, Davison County, South Dakota.
