NOTICE OF HEARING To: The Planning Commission, City Council, Mitchell South Dakota, and to the general public: Dakota Wesleyan University has made an application to rezone the following real property legally described as; The East Half (E ½) of the West Half (W ½) of Block One (1) Morningview Addition, City of Mitchell, Davison County, and the East Half (E ½) of Block Two (2), Morningview Addition to the City of Mitchell, Davison County and All of Block 2A and all of Block 2B within Block Two (2), including Vacated Pine Street, Morningview Addition to the City of Mitchell, Davison County be rezoned from (R2) Single Family Residential District to (PL) Public Lands and Institutions District. John and Pam Miedema (sellers) to Dakota Wesleyan University (buyers) have made an application rezoning the real property legally described as Lots Eight B (8B) and Eight C (8C), Less Lot H-1 of Lot Eight C (8C), Block Eight (8) in Morningview Addition to the City of Mitchell, Davison County; Block Seven (7), less H-1, in Morningview Addition, City of Mitchell, Davison County to be rezoned from (TWC) Transportation, Warehousing, and Commercial District to (PL) Public Lands and Institutions District. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED, that public hearings will be held by the City Planning Commission on June 23, 2014 at 12:00 P.M and City Council will hold first reading on July 7, 2014 and second reading and adoption July 21, 2014 at 7:30 P.M., all meetings will be at the Council Chambers, Mitchell City Hall, 612 N Main St. All interested parties may attend the public hearings and provide comments in regards to the applicant's request.
