Mitchell woman charged with meth possession
A Mitchell woman was arrested Aug. 5 after a syringe and a glass pipe allegedly in her possession tested positive for methamphetamine.
Tanisha Pearl Jeno, 21, is charged with possession of a controlled substance, a felony with a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine. She is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor with a maximum penalty of one year in jail and a $2,000 fine.
Jeno was being arrested for an outstanding warrant when the syringe and glass pipe were found in her possession, court documents say.
Jeno appeared in court Thursday for an initial appearance.
