Antonio Banderas to visit Rapid City today

RAPID CITY — Movie star Antonio Banderas and Dutch oil tycoon and racecar enthusiast Klaas Zwart will visit the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology campus Tuesday for a news conference regarding the Nexus Smart Pay biometric payment system and related loyalty program.

Banderas is the new spokesperson for Nexus Smart Pay, which is backed by Zwart.

The celebrity duo and Mines President Heather Wilson will participate in an 11:15 a.m. news conference in the lower level of the Surbeck Center, then step outside onto the patio to greet fans before attending a private campus luncheon and engaging with the student Hardrocker Formula racecar team.
