Delmont man arrested for aggravated assault for allegedly choking girlfriend
DELMONT — A Delmont man was arrested on Sunday for allegedly choking his long-term girlfriend during an argument at their home.
A Douglas County deputy was called to the residence of Kenneth Rosewall, 37, for a domestic dispute. Law enforcement spoke with the victim who said "there had been an argument between her and Rosewall and he held her down around the throat." According to court documents, Rosewall denied choking the victim when questioned by law enforcement,
Rosewall was arrested for domestic aggravated assault, a Class 3 felony, punishable upon conviction by a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and a fine of $30,000.
