Davison County Commission looking at plans for Central Electric Coop building
With the move of Central Electric Cooperative to its new headquarters building on Betts Road only weeks away, the pressure is mounting on the Davison County commissioners to come up with workable plan for sharing the space at 1420 N. Main St. when the county moves in later this summer.
The county has committed to purchasing the building for $575,000. The space will be divided between the community health nurses and other county offices. The commissioners have rejected two earlier floor plans.
Puetz Corporation representatives will another plan Tuesday when the commissioners meet in regular session at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners' Room at the courthouse, 200 E. Fourth Ave., Mitchell.
The agenda includes:
9 a.m. Call to order, approval of past meeting minutes, citizen input.
9:30 a.m. Miscellaneous items for action, including the payment of bills, and supplements to the Weed Department and Sheriff 's Office budgets.
10 a.m. Discussion of Central Electric remodeling layout and cost estimates.
