Man accused in knife attack at Rapid City mission
RAPID CITY (AP) — A Rapid City man is accused of attacking two men with a knife at a rescue mission.
Authorities say the attack happened about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Cornerstone Rescue Mission. One victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Fifty-seven-year-old Phillip Fetterman is charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
Program director Brian Mathis tells the Rapid City Journal that he did not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the attack, which Mathis says was "unprovoked and out of the blue."
Fetterman is being held in jail without bond.
