Fort Thompson woman indicted for larceny

A Fort Thompson woman pleaded guilty in federal court last week to larceny.

Ruby Sazue, 20, was indicted Nov. 14 and appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark A. Moreno on Nov. 26.

The maximum penalty upon conviction is up to five years in custody, a $250,000 fine or both, three years of supervised release, and $100 to the Federal Crime Victims Fund. Restitution may also be ordered.

Sazue is alleged to have stolen a motor vehicle in Fort Thompson in October.

Sazue was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service pending trial. Trial has been set for Jan. 21.
