Aberdeen man accused of stabbing brother in back
ABERDEEN (AP) — Authorities say an Aberdeen man accused of stabbing his brother has been charged with aggravated domestic assault.
Chief Deputy State’s Attorney Chris White told the American News the altercation involved a knife and a hammer. He declined to release the names because the investigation is ongoing.
The incident happened Wednesday night. White says the man who was charged suffered wounds to his head and was arrested Friday after he was released from the hospital. His brother remains hospitalized with a stab wound to his back.
White says it’s not clear what sparked the fight, but says alcohol was involved.
