Mitchell man pleads guilty to stealing from boss’ son
A Mitchell man pleaded guilty Tuesday to stealing $1,500 over two months.
Lukas Lingemann, 25, entered his plea during court at the Davison County Public Safety Center.
Lingemann was arrested April 23 for grand theft, which carries a maximum of 10 years in prison, a $20,000 fine or both.
Lingemann was helping remodel his boss Timothy Kummer’s home when he stole $1,579 from Kummer’s son, Benjamin.
Video surveillance caught Lingemann in the act.
Judge Tim Bjorkman ordered a presentence investigation and scheduled sentencing for November.
