Man sought for questioning in Brule County homicide

PIERRE -- A Sioux Falls man who has been labeled "armed and dangerous" is being sought by South Dakota authorities for questioning regarding a homicide.

Kent Gene Davidson, 36, is wanted in connection with the investigation of a homicide in Brule County, according to a Thursday afternoon press release from Attorney General Marty Jackley.

No details were provided on the homicide, when it occurred, or who was killed.

Davidson is believed to be driving a white, 2005 Chrysler Sebring with South Dakota license plate 8CT345.

Authorities ask people not to approach him because he is considered armed and dangerous. Davidson has an active warrant for a parole violation.

Davidson, who was wearing a full goatee when last seen, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.

He has several tattoos, including a skull, roses and dagger on his upper left arm; a skull, scorpion, the letters "ELR," a heart and the word "forever" on his right arm; and a scorpion on the back of his neck.
