Alleged probation violator arrested Friday in Mitchell
The Mitchell Department of Public Safety arrested a 22-year-old man Friday wanted in connection with two vehicle pursuits after allegedly violating his probation.
Police said Logan Sapp was arrested at 10:45 a.m. Friday without incident at a residence in Mitchell.
Sapp was arrested for violating his probation, two counts of aggravated eluding of law enforcement and two counts of reckless driving. Further charges may be pending, the department said in a news release.
The Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers sent out information on Sapp Thursday, looking for assistance in identifying Sapp for possible questioning. Police say Sapp was involved in a pair of vehicle chases that had to be terminated for safety reasons.
