The following cases were among those heard Tuesday during a circuit court session at the Davison County Public Safety Center in Mitchell.

Guilty pleas and admissions

• Kristina Fisher, 37, of Sioux Falls, pleaded guilty to distribution of a controlled schedule I or II substance. A sentence hearing is scheduled for Jan. 9.

• Ricky Ferguson Jr., 36, of Mitchell, admitted to violating probation for providing the correct address and phone number to court services and unauthorized ingestion of a controlled schedule I or II substance. He was sentenced to five years in prison with five years suspended and received credit for 55 days already served. He was also sentenced to four years of probation.

• Jeffery McGhee, 44, of Mitchell, admitted to violating probation for not attending substance abuse treatment. He was sentenced to five years in prison with five years suspended and ordered to 26 days in jail. He was also sentenced to four years of probation.

• West Mackey, 51, of Mitchell, pleaded guilty to unauthorized ingestion of a controlled schedule I or II substance and admitted to a probation violation. A sentence hearing is scheduled for Jan. 9.

• Winnadel Jacobs, 21, of Mitchell, admitted to violating probation for failing to show up to serve her jail sentence. She was sentenced to 26 days in jail receiving credit for two days already served. She was also sentenced to five years in prison with five years suspended and four years of probation.

• Jacqueline Chief Eagle, 55, of Mitchell, pleaded guilty to distribution of a controlled schedule III or IV substance. She was sentenced to five years in prison with four years suspended. She received credit for 8 days already served.

• Floyd Carroll, 50, of Mitchell, pleaded guilty to third-offense driving under the influence. A sentence hearing is scheduled for Jan. 3.

• Myron Songer, 30, of Mitchell, pleaded guilty to a simple assault. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.

• Ashley Dorzok, 32, of Mitchell, pleaded guilty to grand theft of more than $5,000 and less than $100,000. She was sentenced to five years in prison with five years suspended. She was also sentenced to four years of probation and ordered to pay restitution. She was also ordered to serve 26 days in jail.

• Jennifer Traversie, 45, of Sioux Falls, admitted to violating probation by not maintaining employment, attending court services or substance treatment. She was sentenced to two years of probation.

Continuances

• Micah Webster, 19, of Mitchell, was issued a continuance and an initial appearance is scheduled for Dec. 12. He is charged with possession and unauthorized ingestion of a controlled schedule I or II substance.

• Joseph McGee, 34, of Mitchell, was issued a continuance and trial is set for Feb. 13. He is charged with domestic abuse aggravated assault.

• Michael Wilson, 32, of Mitchell, was denied a request for change in sentence. He is charged with distributing 1 oz. or less of marijuana in a drug free zone.

• Randolph Smith, 34, of Mitchell, was granted a continuance and issued a $5,000 cash bond. He is charged with domestic abuse aggravated assault. A status hearing is scheduled for Dec.12.

• Tyler Dobras, 28, of Mitchell, was granted a continuance. A trial is set for Feb. 13. He is charged with first-degree rape and indecent exposure involving a child.

• Trevor Belt, 24, of Mitchell, was granted a continuance. A trial is set for Feb. 13. He is charged with aggravated assault.

Denials

• Beau Mackey, 40, of Mitchell, denied violating probation for possession and unauthorized ingestion of a controlled schedule I or II substance. A review hearing is scheduled for Jan. 3.
