Two injured in crash near Plankinton
PLANKINTON—A rollover crash Monday morning two miles west of Plankinton left two people with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
A 33-year-old male who authorities are not identifying was eastbound on Interstate 90 at 4:15 a.m. when he lost control of the 2006 Ford F150 he was driving near mile marker 306, causing the vehicle to roll and come to rest in the ditch on the south side of the road.
Both the driver and his 35-year-old male passenger were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Both were transported first to the Mitchell hospital and then to Sioux Falls.
Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
Because there are no charges pending, authorities are not releasing names due to Marsy's Law.
