27-year-old Alexandria man dies in farming accident
ALEXANDRIA — An Alexandria man died Saturday morning following a farming accident between 9 and 9:30 a.m.
The man — who The Daily Republic has confirmed to be John Kayser — suffered severe injury after getting stuck in a cattle chute on a farm just outside of Alexandria, according to Hanson County Emergency Manager Kevin Kayser.
The man died en route to the hospital, Kayser said.
The Hanson County Sheriff’s Office, Alexandria Emergency Medical Services, Mitchell Emergency Medical Services and Kayser responded to the accident.
