W.Va. woman arrested for third DUI

A West Virginia woman was arrested May 26 for driving drunk on Interstate 90.

Amy Wright, 37, was driving on I-90 when a South Dakota Highway Patrol trooper pulled her over for crossing the solid white line and swerving in her lane. The trooper smelled alcohol on Wright's breath and saw an open can of beer in the passenger seat. Wright's actions were slow and her eyes were bloodshot. She was also driving with a revoked West Virginia driver's license.

She was arrested for her third DUI, according to court documents.

Third-offense DUI carries a maximum penalty upon conviction of two years in prison and a $4,000 fine.
