No damage reported from small tornado

FULTON — A tornado reported by weather spotters at 6:59 p.m. Tuesday barely earned its title, said a National Weather Service spokesman.
“It touched down about eight miles north of Fulton but no details were filed after that report,” said NWS Meteorologist Don Morin, in Sioux Falls.
Hanson County Emergency Management Director Kevin Kayser and Sheriff’s Deputy Jim Lentsch, both trained weather spotters, reported funnel clouds north of Fulton shortly before 7 p.m. and an actual tornado shortly thereafter.
