The pre-election filing deadline for campaign finance reports was Oct. 22. State Sen. I didn’t expect anyone to have difficulty understanding my recent letter to The Daily Republic, but Mr. Sibson says he did. Perhaps I should clarify a few things. It is my belief that a man’s religion is his business and no one else’s. If George McGovern felt that he needed to be apologetic about his belief, that is his privilege, but that doesn’t’ mean that I have to look at it that way.
