Addition of second sheet of ice being discussed for Activities Center 
After a successful season for Mitchell’s hockey teams, the Mitchell Skating and Hockey Association is looking into the possibility of adding a second sheet of ice to the Mitchell Activities Center.
“The need to have that second sheet of ice is there,” MSHA President Brian Nash said.

Mitchell squirt team wins Montana tournament
BILLINGS, Mont. — A team of Mitchell hockey players took home the “Squirt Showdown” championship last weekend in Billings, Mont.
Teams from Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota competed over the weekend and the Mitchell team went undefeated to take home the championship trophy, which can be seen at Pizza Ranch.

Marlin boys defeat Oahe
PIERRE — The Marlin boys’ hockey team defeated the Oahe Capitals 8-3 Saturday in Pierre.
Austin Loes led the team with four goals and one assist. Spencer Lawrence added two goals and three assists, Taylor Herrick had one goal and two assists and Skylar Stahl had one goal for the Marlins. Karl Hellstrom had two assists for the game.
