MITCHELL, S.D. – Three school students suffered minor injuries when the bus carrying them was struck from the rear by a pick-up on S.D. Highway 38 about 10 miles east of Mitchell on Wednesday, Sept. 26.
A white Ford pickup has collided with the back end of a bus from the Hanson School District. The crash was reported just before 8 a.m. about four miles east of the Alexandria corner on state Highway 38.
A local school bus driver caused an accident Monday after he failed to see an oncoming vehicle, according to a Highway Patrol trooper.
The two people in the oncoming SUV received minor injuries, the trooper said. Nobody in the school bus was injured.
