Mitchell School District Superintendent Joe Graves said he has received no offer to replace Tom Oster as the state education secretary, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been approached by numerous people about the rumor.
“I’ve had a lot of people stop by and talk to me about it, but it’s just a rumor,” Graves said Friday. “Rumors are rumors.”
Graves declined to say whether he would accept the position if it is offered to him.
The Mitchell School District has announced its teachers of the year for individual schools.
