PLANKINTON — Becca Glanzer went 15-of-18 from the free-throw line to help the Mitchell Christian girls’ basketball team to a 55-38 Custer Battlefield Highway Conference win Thursday night. Glanzer hit one basket and finished with 17 points. Mackenzie Van Laecken added 15 points for the Golden Eagles and Alexa Van Laecken had 14 points and eight rebounds. Wagner man hospitalized after weekend rollover
MARTY -— A Wagner man remains in serious condition after he and his brother were ejected from a vehicle north of Marty Saturday.According to South Dakota Highway Patrol, Rodney Patterson, 37, of Wagner, was driving a 1976 Ford Pickup north on Charles Mix County Road 21 when the passenger side tires drifted off the roadway at 3:35 p.m. Patterson overcorrected, sending the vehicle across the west ditch of the road where the tires dug in and caused the vehicle to flip several times, landing on the passenger side.
