HOT SPRINGS — All three South Dakota congressional representatives — Sens. Tim Johnson, a Democrat, and John Thune, a Republican, as well as Rep. Kristi Noem, a Republican, — will host a public one-hour Veterans Administration information-gathering session, beginning at 11 a.m., at the Hot Springs American Legion Thursday.
Our VA has achieved recognition around the country for its excellent care and sensitivity to every veteran. The town that calls itself “The Veterans’ Town” believes that our military veterans gave of themselves unconditionally for this nation. In return, the people of this country made a promise to provide the veterans with health care. We take very seriously the promise that ALL veterans deserve accessible health care, not just those who live in high population hubs.
