Ever since Bill Janklow blew past a rural stop sign and killed a motorcyclist in 2003, we’ve assumed he must be a changed man. We figured that being convicted of manslaughter for causing a fatal collision would be a wake-up call for Janklow, who previously had a famous and self-acknowledged lead foot.
Yet, sadly, Janklow has apparently not changed at all.
The speeding ticket received by Bill Janklow in June was at least his fourth in four years within South Dakota since his probation ended for a fatal Moody County crash. The list of his arrests and court cases since 1989 is nine pages long.
