DWU women’s basketball team signs point guard

The Dakota Wesleyan University women’s basketball team has signed junior college transfer Savannah Minder, it was announced Monday.
Minder is a 5-foot-8 point guard who played for Northwest College in Powell, Wyo., last season.
Also being inducted into the Hall of Fame this year are Miles Beacom, Sioux Falls; Ruth Brennan, Rapid City; Bernard Christenson, Pierre; Shirley Kells Halleen, Sioux Falls; Dr. Dennis Knutson, Sioux Falls; Pat Lebrun, Rapid City; Thomas Lillibridge, Bonesteel; Jerry Shoener, Rapid City; and Charles Trimble, Omaha, Neb.
