Selective reporting: That seems to describe the media these days. Abortion is the sacred cow of the media elite. Never would they want to discourage someone from having an abortion or show the reality of the procedure.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Republican Gov. Jack Dalrymple signed into law a measure that outlaws abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy based on the disputed premise that at that point a fetus can feel pain.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple said his decision to sign strict new abortion laws, including the nation's toughest restriction on the procedure, was not based on "any religious belief or personal experience" and that he believes legislators have a right to ask such questions about abortion restrictions.
South Dakota already has the nation's longest waiting period at three days. The State Affairs Committee voted 6-3 Wednesday to approve a measure providing that Saturdays, Sundays and holidays would not count in calculating that three-day wait.
