DWU’s Burback named GPAC golfer of the week By The Daily Republic Chelsea Burback has been named the Great Plains Athletic Conference golfer of the the week, it was announced Thursday. The Northglenn, Colo., native posted a pair of back-to-back low rounds in the third and fourth conference qualifiers to help the Dakota Wesleyan University women’s golf team win its fifth GPAC championship last week. In the third qualifier Burback shot an 85. She improved her score by five strokes in the fourth qualifier by shooting an 80, which tied her for first place with DWU teammate Lauren Fitts in that qualifier.
