Area athletes win Knights of Columbus state free-throw contest By The Daily Republic CHAMBERLAIN — Three area youth athletes won state titles at the South Dakota Knights of Columbus state free throw contest earlier this month. The event was held March 3 at the St. Joseph’s Indian School gymnasium. Forty-three boys and girls, ages 10-14, throughout the state competed against their peers in the same age group for the top five or six places.

The new guns included a Taurus “Judge” revolver that handles both .44 mag and .410 shotgun shells, not to mention a 9 mm Glock semi-automatic. He went on to say that today’s demand for handgun ammunition is so great that he was having trouble finding ammunition.
