USD women’s basketball team makes WBI semifinals VERMILLION (AP) — The University of South Dakota women’s basketball team has moved into the semifinals of the Women’s Basketball Invitational. The Coyotes beat Lamar 71-48 in the quarterfinals on Sunday. USD will host a semifinal matchup with McNeese State on Thursday night. If the Coyotes win they will play at either Pennsylvania or Detroit in the championship next weekend.

DWU adds game with Augustana By The Daily Republic The Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team has added a game to its schedule. The Tigers will now play Augustana College in one nine-inning game 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ronken Field in Sioux Falls. The Tigers lost 10-4 to the Vikings March 15 in Sioux Falls.
