PIERRE — The South Dakota Lottery is giving players 50,000 reasons to celebrate the agency’s 25th anniversary this year. In recognition of the milestone, the Lottery is offering a pair of anniversary scratch tickets with top prizes ranging from $5,000 to $50,000.

PIERRE — Unprecedented resident Canada goose numbers have opened the door to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the South Dakota Department of Game Fish and Parks to allow waterfowl hunters to harvest 15 birds a day during the first two August Management Take seasons in South Dakota and the Early Fall September Canada goose season, and in the process, donate goose meat to the needy.
