Eunice Esta (Jarman) Sperlich, 86, of Rapid City, formerly of Mitchell, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Clarkson Health Care Facility in Rapid City.
Eunice Esta (Jarman) Sperlich, 86, of Rapid City, formerly of Mitchell, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Clarkson Health Care Facility in Rapid City.
She was born Oct. 20, 1926.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Mitchell. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Will Funeral Chapel with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell.
Eunice was born in Avon to Everett and Jesse Jarman. She then graduated from high school in Gary and attended Dakota Wesleyan University. For 40 years she worked at Methodist Hospital in Mitchell as an LPN.
Grateful for having to shared her life are her children, Bill (Gail) Sperlich, Doug (Mary) Sperlich, Linda (Greg) Williams and Mark (Barb) Sperlich; sisters, Isla Hoffman, Darlene Schaefer; sister-in-law, Ruth Sperlich; and brother, Wesley Jarman. She left a legacy of 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband of 58 years, Delmer Sperlich; parents; one sister, Irene; two brothers, Meredith and Wayne Jarman.
