He was born on Nov. 22, 1945.
Memorial services will be held this summer in Mitchell.
He is survived by two daughters: Denise (Richard) Schroeder, Rapid City; and Darcy Lansing, Pine Bush, N.Y.; two sisters: Janet Gerken, Mitchell; and Mary Sperlich, Rapid City; three brothers: Leonard, Eldon, Mo.; Wally Ell, Marana, Ariz.; and Michael Ell, Plankinton; five grandchildren: Alayna, Katie and Hayley Schroeder; and Samantha and Sean Lansing; and numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister, Beverly.
