Daniel Joseph Weber, 63, Dimock, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Avera St. Benedict Hospital, Parkston.
He was born on March 27, 1949.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Dimock. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Koehn Brothers Funeral Home, Parkston.
Daniel Joseph Weber was born to Leonard and Theresa (Fuhrman) Weber in Parkston.
He was baptized and confirmed at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Dimock.
He attended parochial grade school in Dimock and graduated from Parkston High School in 1967.
He was united in marriage to Beverly (Loos) on Jan. 24, 1970, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Parkston.
After graduation, Dan enlisted in the Army National Guard. His unit was assigned to help in the recovery process during the Rapid City flood of 1972.
In 1982, Dan started his own construction business, Dan Weber Construction.
He loved being outside and was an avid Twins, Vikings and NASCAR fan. He also had a passion for collecting Coca-Cola and John Deere memorabilia.
He was a devoted family man who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly, Dimock; four children: Judy Easton and fiancé Brian Carl, Akron, Iowa; Neil Weber, Mitchell; Chad Weber and wife Toni, Dimock; and Jacki Larson and husband Corey, Mitchell; 10 grandchildren: Nichole and Matt Semmler; Abbey and Quinten Easton, Alexis and Jayden Weber; Morgan and Tate Weber; and Noah and Kellan Larson; a great-grandchild, Laiken Semmler; mother-in-law, Gloria Loos; two sisters: Arliss Schaefers and Janice Heisinger, both of Parkston; and a brother, Jerome Weber and wife Sharon, Dimock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, Titus Loos; a sister, Marcelline Fritza; and three brothers-in-law: Dale Schaefers, Leo Heisinger and Joe Fritza.
