Mavonne Finke, 65, Sioux Falls, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at her residence.

Mavonne Finke, 65, Sioux Falls, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at her residence.

She was born on Feb. 19, 1947.

Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Bible Church, Bonesteel. Burial will be in Herrick Cemetery.

Miller Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, and Clausen Funeral Home, Burke, are handling the arrangements.

Mavonne Burger was the only child born to Dallas and Eileen (Anhorn) Burger at Burke.

She was raised in Bonesteel, where she received her education, graduating from Bonesteel High School in 1965.

On Nov. 13, 1965, she was united in marriage with Robert L. (Bob) Finke at Bonesteel.

For several years, she and Bob traveled around the area following a bridge construction company that Bob worked for.

They moved to Sioux Falls in 1976, where they raised their three daughters.

Mavonne was a stay-at-home mom until her daughters were grown. She worked at Target for a number of years, where she found a close circle of special friends, many of whom she continued to spend time with after her retirement.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Bob, Sioux Falls; her three daughters, Tracy (Russ) Schmidt, Menominee, Neb., Tricia Finke, Sioux Falls; and Tara (Robert Padilla) Hoch, Garden City, Kan.; six grandchildren: Matt (Amanda) Oltmanns, Kelsey Oltmanns, Marissa, Nathan and Jada Schmidt; and Roberto Padilla Jr.; and her parents, Sam and Eileen Burger, Bonesteel.
