Alvin A. Weber, 73, Menno, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Chandler Regional Medical Center, Chandler, Ariz.

Alvin A. Weber, 73, Menno, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Chandler Regional Medical Center, Chandler, Ariz.

He was born on March 12, 1939.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church, Menno, with the Rev. Theresa Jacobson officiating. Burial will be at 1:15 p.m. Friday in Unity Cemetery, rural Freeman.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Aisenbrey-Opsahl-Kostel Memorial Chapel, Menno. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.

Alvin was born in rural Freeman to Raymond and Lillian (Roth) Weber.

He was a farmer/rancher on the family farm in Freeman all of his life.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Judy (Guthmiller); their daughters: Tanya (Bill) Karras, Chandler, Ariz.; and Tracie Weber (Gil Torres), Tucson, Ariz.; sisters: Darlene (Ralph) Schulenberg and Celeste (Marlin) Herrboldt; a brother, Delano (Arlene) Klaudt; and a brother-inlaw, Marvin (Vernette) Guthmiller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Weber and Lillian Nusz; brothers: Glen Weber and Archie Klaudt; a sisterin-law, Eileen Klaudt; a sister, Janice (Klaudt) Johnson; and his parents-in-law, Reiny and Vera (Schnabel) Guthmiller.

Memorials may be directed to the Sun Lakes Fire Department, Sun Lakes, Ariz.
