Dorothea Fuerst, Mitchell

Dorothea Fuerst, 91, Mitchell, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Firesteel Healthcare Center.

She was born March 11, 1921.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Bittner Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Parkston Protestant Cemetery, Parkston. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

She was born at Kaylor to Emanuel and Dorthea (Wagner) Fuerst. She attended school in Kaylor. Later she moved to Yankton and then to Mitchell where she made her home.

She is survived by one brother, Ervin ( Leota) Fuerst , Sioux Falls; and one sister, Delores Sample, Mandan, N.D.; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and seven sisters.
