Jeannie Ann Loneman, 48, Mitchell, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, Mitchell.

Jeannie Ann Loneman, 48, Mitchell, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, Mitchell.

She was born on June 25, 1964.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Mitchell. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Armour.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bittner Funeral Chapel, Mitchell, with a 7 p.m. Scripture service.

She was born at Armour to Virgil and Gertrude (Stunes) Loneman.

She graduated from Armour High School in 1982 and attended SDSU for nursing.

She moved to Oklahoma for a few years to show horses and while there attended a veterinary tech school.

She moved to Mitchell and worked for Lakeview Veterinary Clinic and Tilberg Construction.

She was employed by Shopko for several years before she went to work for Graphic Packaging.

She had just recently been employed by Trail King Industries.

She loved the outdoors and was an avid animal lover.

She is survived by her son, Clay Loneman; her fiancé, Shane Weisser and his son, Mason, Mitchell; two brothers: Chuck (Brenda) Loneman, Sioux Falls; and Ron (Hope) Loneman, Delmont; five sisters: Kathy (Dwain) Scheetz, Mount Vernon; Ruth (Merle) Tilberg, Mitchell; Barb Loneman, Madison; Lori (Jim) Godfrey, Watertown; and Sue (Paul) Miller, Harrisburg and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews, who will remember her as “crazy Aunt Jeannie.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, nephew, Joshua Loneman; and two pets, Dusty and DJ.

Jeanie, sleep with the angels. I will forever remember you and the great person you were. Myself , Mark will always keep you in our thoughts.
