Dwayne Zangle, 74, Mitchell, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Yankton Care Center, Yankton.
He was born on Oct. 9, 1937.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bittner Funeral Chapel, Mitchell. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Mitchell. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
He was born at Corsica, to Ernest and Ellen (Herbst) Zangle.
He attended and graduated from Parkston High School.
On January 4, 1974 he married Glenda Hight. They moved to Mitchell where he drove truck for Land O Lakes Dairy and AMPI for several years and then drove for Dakota Manufacturing Company until retiring in 2006. He was a member of the Mitchell Moose Lodge.
He is survived by one daughter, Sherry (Rich) Darrington, Yankton; one niece, Dawn (Greg) Learing, Sioux Falls; three grandchildren: Corey, Curt and Shelby Bowers; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Glenda; and a brother, Harvard.
