Alda M. Ferwerda , 89, Springfield, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton.

She was born on May 21, 1923.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at United Church of Christ, Springfield. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery, rural Avon.
