Verna Koerner, 82, Huron, died Friday, March 2, 2012, at SunQuest Healthcare Center, Huron.
She was born on March 26, 1929.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Parish of Alpena Church, Alpena. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Huron.
Visitation with the family present will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Welter Funeral Home, Huron, with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
