Roger G. Whitney, 50, Lower Brule, died on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at Sanford Medical Center, Chamberlain.
Roger G. Whitney, 50, Lower Brule, died on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at Sanford Medical Center, Chamberlain.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lower Brule, with the Rev. Joseph Dean officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Lower Brule.
Hickey Funeral Chapel, Chamberlain, is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his mother, Judy, Lower Brule; four sisters: Janet Whitney-Hardin and Candida Estes, both of Lower Brule; Mona Whitney-Goodface and Margaret Whitney-Tisdall, all of Sioux Falls; and three brothers: Bradford Whitney, Eli Whitney and Charles Whitney, all of Lower Brule.
