Earl W. “E.J.” Johnson, 80, Columbus, Ohio, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Mount Carmel East Hospital, Columbus.

Earl W. “E.J.” Johnson, 80, Columbus, Ohio, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Mount Carmel East Hospital, Columbus.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Columbus, with the Rev. William Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pataskala, Ohio. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Evans Funeral Home, Columbus, with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service Monday.

He was born on Dec. 9, 1930, in Mitchell.

He married Audrey Wermers.

He retired from Ross Labs after 35 years of service.

He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Columbus.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter: Kelly Edwards and husband Jon; sons: Tim and wife Darla; Clay and wife Tina; Scott and wife Karen; Brett; Patrick and wife Darcy; and Darin; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; and aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice or a charity of your choice.

Sorry to hear about Earl it has been a long time since I had seen Earl I believe it was Uncle Bill's funeral.
