Michael Knight, Salem

Michael D. Knight, 57, Salem, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, in Marion.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kinzley Funeral Home, Salem. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at the funeral home, with a 7 p.m. prayer service.

He was born on Jan. 24, 1953, in Burlington, Iowa, to Charles and Vivian (Fisher) Knight.

He lived in the Dolton area before moving to Salem recently.

He worked as a farmhand in the Salem area.

He is survived by two daughters: Amanda Bain and husband Nick, Sioux Falls; and Heather Reif and husband Rod, Salem; his mother, Marion; four brothers: Bob and Dennis, Missouri; Raymond, Iowa; and Jake, Sioux Falls; and a half-sister, Sharon Algood, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Stanley.
