Robert Kuca, Dante

Robert Raymond Kuca, 80, Dante, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society, Wagner.

Private family memorial services will be held.

Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home, Wagner, is handling arrangements.

He was born on May 11, 1930, at Avon to Raymond and Caroline (Kostel) Kuca.

He graduated from Wagner High School in 1948.

He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.

On July 16, 1957, he married Gaylene Morrow at St. John’s Catholic Church, Wagner.

He farmed south of Dante.

He entered the Good Samaritan Society in November 2008 because of failing health.

He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Dante.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters: Julie Doom and husband Jeff, Wagner; and Patsy Hill and husband John, Woodbury, Minn.; a son, Brian and wife Doreen, Dante; six grandchildren, a brother, Don, Dante; a sister, Elaine Cihak, Dante; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Doris Kuca; a sister-in-law, Norma Kuca; a brother-in-law, Don Cihak; and a nephew.
